A&J Painting & Handyman recently completed another residential painting project in Tampines, Singapore.
This was not a straightforward empty-house repaint. The home contained furniture, decorative wall features, chandeliers, ceiling cornices and detailed ceiling ornaments, so careful protection and preparation were especially important before painting began.
Our painters covered the furniture and flooring properly and masked the surrounding areas before carrying out the painting works.
A special feature of this Tampines project was the decorative ceiling roses and ornaments. Besides refreshing the ceilings and walls, we also repainted the gold decorative portions by hand, restoring the contrast between the white mouldings and gold detailing.
These smaller details take additional time and care, but they make a noticeable difference to the overall finished appearance.
For us, a good painting job is not simply about applying new paint. Proper preparation, protection of the owner’s belongings and careful finishing around existing decorative features are equally important.
